Project Description
We’re lucky that sometimes we get to work in some amazing houses, and this was one of those occasions. The clients wanted to create a new open plan look in a house that was originally designed differently. We had a challenge on our hands, as the existing kitchen was in the back end of the house and space was limited to create anything different to what they already had.
By removing the L shaped dividing wall between the kitchen and dining room, and moving the kitchen to the front of the house, we had scope to create this beautiful design with two islands and a tv area and connect it all together to act as one open plan living space. We also removed a window and put in patio doors to the garden in the old kitchen.
